Looking for a way to make straight seams easily? This magnetic sewing seam guide is for you! The magnets enable you to place this guide where you need to, allowing you to sew seams starting at 1/8 inch on up with the large seam guide.
This sewing seam guide is 3D printed using PLA Plastic Filament with encased rare earth magnets. This material is durable and will last during your crafting projects. PLA is a low temperature plastic and is not meant to be used in temperatures of over 100 Degrees Fahrenheit. Please don't leave in your car on Hot summer days. For a more durable plastic please select our PETG option.
The large seam guide has a cutout of 1.5 inches in length which enables you to achieve a guided 1/8 inch seam on any project. This is done by placing the guide around the sewing foot. The small seam guide enables you to achieve a constant line that is the width of your sewing foot or larger.
Please note that this guide only works on sewing machines with a metal plate as a base. Before you buy, you should check whether the sewing machine has a metal plate that is at least 1 5/8 inches deep (front to back) and if magnets stick to it.
This product is offered in 3 Options:
- Small Guide Only ( ~3 1/4 Inches Long by ~11/16 Inches Wide by 1/8 Inch Tall)
- Large Guide Only (~5 9/16 Inches Long by ~1.25 Inches Wide by 1/8 Inch Tall)
